Alena Feldman

Voice Faculty

Biography:

Alena Feldman is an operatic soprano and voice educator based in the Boston area. Originally from Pottstown, PA, she holds a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from Boston University, and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from The Boston Conservatory at Berklee.


As a performer, Alena has appeared in operatic and concert settings in the U.S. and abroad. Her operatic credits include Donna Anna in Don Giovanni, Vitellia (cover) in La clemenza di Tito, La Voix de Lointain in Cendrillon, and Contessa Almaviva (cover) in Le nozze di Figaro. She is currently preparing the role of Santuzza in Mascagni’s Cavalleria Rusticana. Her concert repertoire includes Mozart’s Requiem and Vaughan Williams’s Dona Nobis Pacem.


Teaching Philosophy:

Alena is passionate about helping students develop a healthy, confident, and sustainable

relationship with their voices. Drawing from her background in both operatic performance and

musical theater, she works with singers across genres and experience levels, meeting each student where they are and tailoring her approach to their individual goals.


Her teaching emphasizes efficient technique, musical expression, and body awareness. As a

dedicated student of the Alexander Technique, Alena integrates its principles into her voice lessons to support posture, coordination, and long-term vocal health. She strives to create a supportive, inclusive learning environment where students feel empowered to explore, take risks, and discover their authentic sound.
