2026-2027 Private Lessons

At Attacca, private lessons are tailored to each student’s unique goals, learning style, and pace. Our dedicated faculty provide one-on-one instruction that builds strong technical foundations, fosters creativity, and inspires a lifelong love of music. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced student, private lessons offer the individualized attention needed to grow as a musician.

We offer private lessons in the following instruments from Ages 6-Adults:

• Piano

• Bowed Strings: Violin, Viola, Cello

• Plucked Strings: Guitar, Ukulele

• Voice

• Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone

Schedule:

• Fall Semester (September to mid January): 16-17 lessons

  • Weekdays 17 Lessons​

  • Weekends 16 lessons

• Spring Semester (late January to mid June): 16-17 lessons

  • Weekdays 17 Lessons​

  • Weekends 16 lessons

• Summer Semester (Late June to August, flexible scheduling)

  • Minimum of 3 lessons, up to length of full summer semester​

Private Lesson Enrollment Tracks: Standard and Competition

Two enrollment track options allow students to choose a path thats right for their goals. Standard enrollment is the best choice for those looking to simply learn and enjoy music in their child's or own life. Competition enrollment is the best choice for students/families looking to pursue music as a prioritize activity with goals towards participation in masterclasses, festivals, and competitions.

Standard Enrollment Includes: 

34 (Weekday) or 32 (Weekend) private lessons per academic year

Semi-annual recitals (two per academic year)

Participation in Performance Hours (4–5 per year)

Free attendance to visiting artist concert series and masterclasses

Participation in Family & Friends Concert

10% Discount and waived registration fee for all group classes/programs

Competition Enrollment Includes: in addition to the standard enrollment inclusions​

Strings:​

Prioritization for masterclass participation 

Masterclass accompaniment (when participating) 

1 hour of accompanist rehearsal time (in or outside of lesson) throughout the semester

Faculty preparation and coordination support for competitions, auditions, and accompanist coordination

Piano

Prioritization for masterclass participation 

Either:

1 hour of accompanist rehearsal time (in or outside of lesson) when involving 2 piano or concerto repertoire

OR - $100 covered towards registration fees for adjudications, 

Faculty preparation and coordination support for competitions, auditions, and accompanist coordination
