2026-2027 Tuition & Fees

Fall & Spring 2026-2027 Private Lesson Tuition

Tuition is paid by semester (Fall/Spring/Summer) For more information about payment options and schedules, please check out the payments section below.

For those who join mid-semester, tuition is prorated to match the remaining lessons at the time of enrollment.

Regular Fall/Spring Weekday Lessons (17 lessons/semester)

30 Minutes: $1054 ($62 per lesson)
45 Minutes: $1496 ($88 per lesson)
60 Minutes: $1921 ($113 per lesson)

Regular Fall/Spring Weekend Lessons (16 lessons/semester)

30 Minutes: $992 ($62 per lesson)
45 Minutes: $1408 ($88 per lesson)
60 Minutes: $1808 ($113 per lesson)

Regular Academic Year Tuition Includes:

34 (Weekday) or 32 (Weekend) private lessons per academic year
Semi-annual recitals (two per academic year)
Participation in Performance Hours (4–5 per year)
Free attendance to visiting artist concert series and masterclasses
Participation in Family & Friends Concert
10% Discount and waived registration fee for all group classes/programs

Competition Academic Year Tuition Additionally Includes

(in addition to the standard inclusions from regular enrollment):

Strings:

Prioritization for masterclass participation
Masterclass accompaniment (when participating)
1 hour of accompanist rehearsal time (in or outside of lesson) throughout the semester
Faculty preparation and coordination support for competitions, auditions, and accompanist coordination

Piano

Prioritization for masterclass participation
Either:
- 1 hour of accompanist rehearsal time (in or outside of lesson) when involving 2 piano or concerto repertoire
- OR - $100 covered towards registration fees for adjudications,
Faculty preparation and coordination support for competitions, auditions, and accompanist coordination

Group Programs Tuition

All youth academic year group programs at Attacca run on a two semester format - the Fall and Spring Semester. Summer offerings for group programs are varying. Group programs run on 10 or 15 week Session Semesters and prices vary based on program.

Please see our school calendar for more specific dates. All group program include a registration of a $15, unless you are also enrolled in private lessons in which case the registration fee is waived.

Summer Private Lesson Tuition for All Instruments

Summer 2026 Lessons (length of semester based on enrollment - up to 8 weeks)

30 Minutes: $59 per lesson
45 Minutes: $82 per lesson
60 Minutes: $107 per lesson

Tuition is paid up front for the full number of lessons that you choose to enroll for the summer. The summer semester runs late June-August and includes a registration fee of $15. For more information about payment options and schedules, please check out the payments section below.

Why registration fees?

Registration fees support the administrative staff that keeps Attacca running smoothly behind the scenes — including scheduling, communication, event coordination and attendance, student support, and year-round program planning.

Academic Year Private Lessons
- Annual fee of $50 for single student or $75 per family with multiple students
Summer Private Lessons
- $15 for single student/$30 per family with multiple students
Group Classes
- $15 per student (waived for already enrolled students)

Accompaniment Fees: for violin/viola/cello students participating in recitals/performances

Why accompaniment fees?

Accompanist fees support the preparation time, rehearsals, and performances provided by our professional collaborative pianists. All recital accompanying fees are inclusive of 1 rehearsal with piano and recital performance.

Suzuki Book 1-2: $60 per student
Suzuki Book 3-Early Concerto Repertoire: $85 per student
Advanced Repertoire and Competitions:
- For 1 rehearsal and performance $120 per student
- For 2 rehearsals and performance $160 per student

Piano Materials Fee:

A once per semester fee of $35 per student/$50 for family of multiple students may apply for piano students at Attacca whose teacher purchases and supplies books and class materials.

Discounts

Fall/Spring Semester Sibling Discount:

Two students = $50 discount
Three students = $100 discount
Four or more students = $150 discount

Referrall Discount: those who refer others to the studio will be credited $50 for the following tuition payment *referrals must enroll in a full semester of lessons to receive this discount*

Group Program Discounts: for those already enrolled in private lessons, we offer a 10% discount on group programs and chamber music.

Summer Lessons: There are no discounts on summer lessons due to brevity of semester

Making Payments

Private Lessons: Full Semester Payment (1 student enrolled)

Registration fee collected at time of enrollment (yearly registration fee of $50 per student)
Once placed, the office will send out an invoice for the semester with further payment instructions
Check, Zelle, or Credit Card (fee assessed) available for tuition payments

Private Lessons: Split Semester Installment Payment (2+ students/instruments enrolled)

Registration fee collected at time of enrollment (yearly registration fee of $75 per family)
Once placed, the office will send out an invoice for the semester
Check, Zelle, or Credit Card (fee assessed) available for tuition payments with further payment instructions
Two payments per semester (4 payments per year) + yearly registration fee + any materials fees
- Fall - August, November
- Spring - January, April

Group Program: Full Semester Payment

$15 Deposit collected at time of enrollment
Once placed, the office will send out an invoice for the semester
Check, Zelle, or Credit Card (fee assessed) available for tuition payments

Summer Lessons: Full Semester Payment

Accompaniment and Miscellaneous Fees

Any string students needing accompaniment will be billed separately, to be completed within 10 days

Should your teacher require a materials fee to cover books, this will be included in your semester invoice

Withdrawals & Refunds

Formal written notice is required for a proper withdrawal. Sudden non-attendance or payment is not considered formal notice and will result in no tuition refunds
Registration (private and chamber) and/or materials fees are non-refundable upon withdrawal. Sibling discounts will be taken into account for any issued prorated tuition refunds as well upon withdrawal.
Any due makeup lessons are forfeited upon withdrawal

Fall or Spring Semester Refunds

Prior to/or concurrently with 3rd lesson of semester - Full Prorated Refund
After 3rd lesson of semester - no refunds

Summer Lessons Refunds

No refunds or credits given due to brevity of semester

Group Ensemble Refunds

More than 1 month prior - Full Refund
Within a month - 50% Refund
After program starts - No Refund
