Group Guitar

Ages 8-10

Group guitar is a great option for kids ready to take on a slightly bigger musical challenge. It helps build finger strength and coordination while introducing chords and strumming patterns that form the foundation for many styles of music. Ideal for ages 8 and up, it's perfect for students who enjoy learning popular songs, playing with others, and want an instrument they can grow with over time.

 

Program Overview: 

• Intended as a Full Academic Year Course - students will be automatically re-enrolled for the Spring to complete the class, unless given notice of withdrawal or transfer to private lessons.

• 15 Class Sessions of Weekly 45 Minute Group Class 

• Class size is limited to four students per group to ensure chance for personal attention to each student 

• Level 1:

  • For beginner students new to group guitar​

• Level 2: 

  • For student who have completed level 1 or have prior experience (with instructor approval)

Schedule:

• 15 Class Sessions of Weekly 45 Minute Group Class - Fall (9/19-1/16)

• Saturday Mornings - Level 1 10:45-11:30am, Level 2 11:30am-12:15pm

Tuition:

• $475 per 15 class session (includes tuition and class materials) + $15 Annual Registration Fee ​

Requirements:

• Students are required to have their own instrument for classes and practice at home. 

  • Recommended is a 1/2 Size Guitar for this age group

• Weekly assignments will be given; caregivers are encouraged to help support consistent practice habits.
