Chamber Music at Attacca

Chamber Music is some of the richest and most beautiful in the repertoire! Students will build the tools needed to work as a unit - listening, cueing, communicating - as well as strengthen the skills needed for solo playing - rhythm, timing, pulse, etc. Coaches will help them to harmonize together to bring their pieces to life!

  • SCHEDULE: 8 week program in Fall and Spring 

    • FALL SESSION: October-December

    • SPRING SESSION: March-May

  • LENGTH: 60min/75min/90min dependent on age/level

  • WHEN: Weekend Classes on Saturday Evenings

  • AGES: 8-16 yrs old

  • LEVEL: Early Intermediate- Advanced

  • INSTRUMENTS: Piano, Strings, Voice, Woodwinds

  • COST: see tuition below

  • SIZE: 2-6 students per ensemble

  • ONLINE AUDITION MAY BE REQUIRED: see requirements below for any needed auditions

  • Open to both current students of ASM and outside as well

Your tuition includes:

  • 8 classes inclusive of both coaching and group practice

  • Recital at the end of the program session 

  • Carefully picked repertoire and pairings for a productive and enjoyable experience

  • Coaching sessions with instructors who can give direct corrections and advice for the instrumentation

Audition Process for New Students to Attacca:​

  • In order to be properly placed, each registering student who is not a current student must submit a recording of their YouTube link audition through the registration form listed at the bottom of this page

  • Audition tapes should be shared via a YouTube "unlisted" link  and listed on registration form​​

  • Please review the audition requirements below to prepare properly for your audition:

Requirements For Individual Levels:​

  • ​Late Beginner:

    • 1 octave scale of choice (if piano hands together)

    • 1 solo piece showcasing technical abilities  ​

  • Intermediate/Advanced:

    • 2-3 octave scale of choice (if piano hands together)​

    • 1 solo piece showcasing technical abilities

General Registration:​

  • Submit a registration form 

  • Once we have received and reviewed both your registration form and audition tape, you will be contacted and notified about your acceptance and placement group ​​​

  • Once placed in a group, your semester tuition + registration fee will be due together within 2 weeks
