Youth Cello Ensemble
Ages 10+ (2+ years of Private Lessons & Comfortable Up to 4th Position)
Audition Video Required
Our Cello Ensemble brings intermediate to advanced cellists together to experience the unique joy of making music in an all-cello group. Students will explore engaging repertoire from classical, folk, and global traditions while developing ensemble playing, chamber music skills, musicianship, and cello technique and perform a final concert of 2-3 pieces of contrasting styles that showcases their playing and understanding of the music while having fun.
It’s a wonderful opportunity for cellists to collaborate, grow as musicians, and discover the rich range of sounds and possibilities that a cello ensemble can offer!
Program Overview:

Skill Level: Intermediate- Advanced (Ages 10+) - should be comfortable from 1st through 4th position

Ensemble Setup: Ensemble of at least 4 cello students plus instructor

Rehearsal Schedule: Saturday reharsals at 3:00-4:00pm

Rehearsal Duration & Tuition (per 6-Week Session):

60 Minutes - $250: Weekly Rehearsals (instructor present for entire rehearsal) and Final Concert

Performance: Final concert at the end of each session.

Final Concert also February 13th (last rehearsal acting as dress rehearsal)
