AnnaLotte Smith

Piano Faculty

Biography:

AnnaLotte Smith is a “Young American concert pianist who has been making waves on both sides of the Atlantic with her moving performances.” (Lynn News, England). AnnaLotte gave her first solo recital at age 8, performed her orchestral debut at age 12, and began concertizing internationally at age 13. She has successfully competed in multiple international competitions, most notably winning the Grand Prix at the Second Baden-Württemberg International Piano Competition in Germany. She has been featured as a soloist and chamber musician on multiple international concert tours and festivals such as Mostly Modern Festival, USA; International Mozarteum Summer Academy, Austria; Accademia Pianistica Internazionale di Imola, Italy; and Classical Bridge Festival, USA. AnnaLotte Smith is a Steinway Teacher & Educational Partner with over a decade of teaching experience from the private studio to the college classroom. AnnaLotte guest lectured at the Graduate Piano Pedagogy Department at Westminster Choir College in 2017 and joined Westminster Conservatory of Music of Rider University in Princeton, NJ where she served on the Faculty of the music theory and history department and Pre-College Honors Music Program until 2020. She was also the Assistant Director of the Westminster Pre-College Honors Music Program. AnnaLotte holds a BM in Piano Performance from Westminster Choir College at Rider University with additional studies at Princeton University as well a MM in Piano Performance at Boston Conservatory at Berklee.
